Golf Victor Foxtrot was the call sign for Concorde 192.
In 1982, Golf Victor Foxtrot inadvertently travelled down a time corridor as it began its deceleration. This took it back one hundred forty million years to the Jurassic period. The passengers and crew were taken by the Tremas Master, who was masquerading as "Kalid", as slaves for him to use to attempt to gain access to the Xeraphin's Citadel.
Following a conflict with the Fifth Doctor, the Master materialised his TARDIS around Concorde Golf Victor Foxtrot, and operated his chameleon circuit so that his TARDIS assumed Concorde's exact appearance. However, the Doctor noticed this deception, as the real Golf Victor Foxtrot was damaged and yet this Concorde was in perfect condition. Later, the Doctor made a deal with the Master which allowed the crew of Concorde Golf Alpha Charlie to use parts from Concorde Golf Victor Foxtrot to make repairs and depart. Golf Victor Foxtrot was left in the past. Over the years, the plane was buried. When Concorde Golf Alpha Charlie returned to their own time, Concorde Golf Victor Foxtrot was still buried in the sewers near Heathrow Airport. The Sixth Doctor later wondered about the confused civil engineers who would eventually dig up the prehistoric Concorde. (PROSE: Synthespians™ [+]Loading...["Synthespians™ (novel)"])
Behind the scenes
In reality, none of the Concorde aircraft built were known as Golf Victor Foxtrot. The registry G-BAVF, supposedly used by this aircraft, was not assigned to a Concorde, but a Beechcraft 58 twin-engined light executive aircraft built in 1973. [1]
