Shaftesbury Avenue was a street in London.
Piccadilly Circus was located at the intersection of Shaftesbury Avenue and Regent Street. (PROSE: Endgame) The avenue also intersected with Seven Dials via Earlham Street, where the games shop Orc's Nest was located, opposite the MGM. At least this part of the street was located in Westminster. (PROSE: Invasion of the Cat-People)
There were numerous theatres and a Forbidden Planet megastore on the street. (PROSE: In Search of Doctor X)

The Forbidden Planet megastore on this avenue was also used as the basis for the fictitious Prohibited Sphere Megastore in The Fourth Wall.
