Via Egnatia

The Via Egnatia was a chariot road which linked Italy with Thrace, leading from the Adriatic coast to the city of Byzantium. After hearing that the TARDIS was taken to Rome by Germanicus Vinicius, the First Doctor, Barbara Wright, Ian Chesterton and Vicki Pallister travelled by the Via Egnatia to retrieve it.
