Well now, they also fly. I don't really see that as an issue, as they could have teleported to the yard and materialized in the air before landing. But good point on the door. Even if we concede that they could have just busted through the door and it happened to fall back into the doorway, I can't see them maneuvering around the house (particularly Amy's room, which looked small for River to walk around in).
