Cwmtaff was a small village in Wales, which in 2020 was home to a large drilling operation led by Dr Nasreen Chaudhry and Tony Mack. (TV: The Hungry Earth)

In 2011, BBC News reported that the government approved additional trials of the Cwmtaff Discovery Drilling Project. (TV: The Man Who Never Was) This was fully operational by 2020.
