The Battle of Golgalith during the War in Heaven was initiated by the Enemy in an effort to destabilise the Spiral Politic by taking advantage of Golgalith's status as a nexus world.
The Houses retaliated by sending in the Fifth Time Fleet, and Faction Paradox also sent in significant forces, both trying to take back control of Golgalith's timeline and recklessly rewriting the lives of the inhabitants in the process.
