Mr Scoones was the owner of the one of the local workhouses in London. On Christmas Eve 1851 he attended the funeral of Reverend Aubrey Fairchild. Mercy Hartigan arrived with an army of Cybermen, but he, Mr Cole, Mr Fetch and Mr Milligan where taken by them to be used as a part of their plans, they made him take the orphans to the lair of the CyberKing.
