:It should not be deleted.  He is referenced in two UNIT audio dramas.  He may not be quite referenced correctly, but he is a valid Doctor Who related character. As an aside, how does does "year" rhyme with "blair"? -- [[User:Sulfur|sulfur]] 19:53, July 2, 2010 (UTC)

Blair may have been intended to be the dead PM, but that comes from a commentary, so that should be "background information", not canon stuff. Source

"The character was called Michael Year"- when? By who? Where are you getting this information? This seems more like individual fanon than anything else.

Proposed deletion

For the above, no sources for the name Michael Year. On the British Prime Minister page it says 'possibily Michael Year' but doesn't give a source. --Tangerineduel 14:15, June 10, 2010 (UTC)

From my exploration and searching, it seems that the name comes from the UNIT audio dramas The Longest Night and Snake Head, but I don't have access to either, so cannot confirm. Apparently, he was a Conservative. :) -- sulfur 14:43, June 10, 2010 (UTC)
Delete. The dead PM in Aliens of London is supposed to be Tony Blair; the creators say so. Tony Blair is shown to have existed in Rise of the Cybermen. It's not too great a leap to conclude Tony Blair, not "Michael Year" (which I assume is, by virtue of rhyme, meant to be a Tony Blair stand-in in Snake Head).Zythe 19:07, July 2, 2010 (UTC)
