Bill Gates (born 1955) was the chairman of Microsoft Corporation.
He was executed by Harold Saxon in the alternate timeline created by the Master in 2008, during the Great Celebrity Purge of Week One. (REF: The Time Traveller's Almanac)
Gates was restored, along with the rest of the correct timeline after the destruction of the paradox machine.
