Karra originally had a Human or near-Human form. She first appeared to Ace mounted on a horse in a playground in Ace's old home town of Perivale. Karra transported Ace to the Cheetah World and there she killed Stuart, also abducted from Perivale. Ace threw a rock at Karra's head, hurting her, though she soon healed thanks to the power of the planet.
