Karina was a young and attractive officer onboard Sea Base 4. Her rank was an ensign. She was a close friend of Maddox. During the attack she unfortunantly discovered Nilson and Solow using Maddox to sabotage the base. She despirately tried to get through to him. Soon Solow activated a device. Maddox then put his hands on her shoulder. She then smiled and look relieved thinking she got through to him. Then he wrapped his hands around her throat. She then screamed as her once close friend brutally murdered her. (DW: Warriors of the Deep)
