The Shansheeth were a species known as galactic undertakers. They traveled through space to return lost heroes to their kin.
Biology
They had a likeness to Earth vultures. They had hunched shoulders with their necks protruding from the middle section of their body. They were able to project a red energy beam from their hands offensively. (SJA: Death of the Doctor)
History
In 2010 they returned the Doctor to Earth, proclaiming him dead. They planned to drain energy from Sarah Jane Smith and Josephine Grant through their memories of the Doctor.
