Marunianism began when the Protestant church accepted all forms of technology. Marunia Lennox rejected this, starting a new religion and was opposing all forms of science. Over time, the rules were loosened, with only genetic engineering, vivisection and experimentation for its own sake. Its symbol was of a stylized hand, implying that God intended to Humans to have 4 fingers and 1 thumb.
