I knew a Peter Lidiard-White, who worked on the Celestial Toymaker and was the only witness to my early attempts to re-colour the Autons. I demo'd my method at BBC Enterprises to him, but did not have enough machines left to make a recording. I still have my masters, but then so does everyone now ! Peter was definatly a bloke, with white hair IIRC. He became very ill shortly after my demo and nothing further happened with colourisation for 20 years... | |||

Don't have time to research this at the moment, but I noticed when I switched categories that the previous category had been sorted under the key "White". Since PAs were largely un-credited during the time fo her involvement, do we have a Doctor Who credit with her name, one way or the other? If not, can we definitively (or even reasonably) assert when she got married and went with the double-barrel? Thing is, if she was credited during DW as Lidiard-White, then we have to sort under "L", not "W". We haven't actually laid down any naming rules for the cases of people who change their name during their involvement on DW. One of the few I can think of is Heddi Joy Taylor, but the thing is, she retained her name first when she switched over to the double, double-barreled name, Heddi-Joy Taylor-Welch. Thus, her sort key, "Taylor", remained valid. Here, White seems to have sublimated her maiden name, which forces the problem. CzechOut ☎ | ✍ 18:24, January 10, 2011 (UTC)
