:Well, these little milestones are fun to celebrate, but it's best not to get too serious about them. If any one of the previous 20,999 articles gets deleted, and of course at least one of them will, then the number shifts. And that number only counts things in the main namespace. It's hardly fair to say that it's the 21,000th page on the wiki. We've been at 21,000 for quite a while now, if you count all pages.
