The Hoothi were fungoid creatures of an unknown origin.
Biology
The Hoothi could exist either as spores or as planet-sized gas spheres that allowed them to travel through space. They lived on decaying organic matter.
History
The Hoothi had knowledge of the Time Lords and the Doctor, possibly from a previous encounter.
In the year 2570, the Doctor Ace and Bernice Summerfield encountered the Hoothi on Heaven. (NA: Love and War)
Behind the Scenes
- A Sisterhood of Karn member in DW: The Brain of Morbius mentions the Hooti. This was a mistake on the actress' part, it was scripted as Moothi. (DOC: Getting a Head)
