Saul Bredon was an attendant of St. Christopher's Church in Cheldon Bonniface during the 19th century. He had died asleep in the pews, and the cleaning ladies who heard a disembodied voice humming hymns believed it was Saul Bredon's ghost. That entity came to be known as Saul.
