The Grand Order of Oberon was an order of Knights which existing during humanity's interstellar era.
History
The Order grew out of the Guild of Adjudicators which maintained order throughout the Earth Empire period. (NA: Lucifer Rising) Their name makes reference to the Adjudicators located on Oberon, a moon of Saturn during the 22nd century Dalek invasion, dedicated to beating back the Daleks from the solar system. (NA: GodEngine) The Guild of Adjudicators itself would continue until at least the 30th century. (NA: Original Sin)
Eventually, the Order passed its prime and dwindled. One Knight of the Order, Orcini, was forced to make a living as an assassin. Knowing he would die within minutes after setting off a bomb to try to kill Davros, Orcini gave his medal from the Order to the Sixth Doctor and requested that he return it to them. (DW: Revelation of the Daleks) The Seventh Doctor said afterwards that, searching through Orcini's time, he never did find any trace left of the Order. (NA: Lucifer Rising)
