Jim Smith wrote several audio stories and prose stories.
The character of Evelyn Smyth in the Big Finish audio series is believed to be based on Smith, with whom Alan Barnes shared a flat at University.
His favourite meal is brown pudding. Whilst staying in a guest-house in Dorset, he claimed to have been visited by the ghost of William Hartnell, who really put the willies up him.
Audio stories
- The Adventure of the Diogenes Damsel
- Occam's Razor (with Alan Stevens)
- Hidden Persuaders (with Fiona Moore)
