Abslom Daak was a Human convicted of 23 charges ranging from murder to massacre. At the close of his trial, he was given the choice between vaporisation or exile as a Dalek Killer. He chose the latter.
His chosen weapon on this quest was (and continued to be) a chainsword.
He met the Doctor on the planet Hell, where the Doctor was investigating a Dalek Death Wheel.
