The Rexel system, also known as the Rexel planetary configuration, was a binary star system consisting of fourteen planets. The fourth planet, Rexel IV, was home to the Carrionites before their demise. (DW: The Shakespeare Code)
- Judging by the name of the native species, the native name of Rexel IV may in fact be "Carrion".
Shadmoch was also within the Rexel system. (REF: Doctor Who: The Encyclopedia)
The twin pulsars of Rexel were visible from Olleril until light pollution from Empire City made the stars invisible. This suggests that the Rexel system is in the Pristatrek Galaxy. (NA: Tragedy Day)
