Cleaning robots were robots whose first function was to maintain the cleanliness of Paradise Towers.The cleaners were under the
control of the chief caretaker, then Kroagnon. The standard version moved on wheels and had a bizarre amount of weaponry, including a buzz saw, a drill, a gas release and a grabbing arm; the machine also included a bin to carry off rubbish (and victims). The Seventh Doctor and Mel arrived in the TARDIS at Paradise Towers. where they
encountered these cleaning robots. One travelled the area, cleaning up dead residents.
