Jubilee Pizza was an international convenience food chain operating on Earth in the early 21st century.
History
The Cardiff branch of Jubilee Pizza enjoyed the regular custom of Torchwood Three, which had an account in the name of "Torchwood" with the company, courtesy of Owen Harper. Gwen Cooper impersonated a delivery person in order to gain access to the Hub for the first time, though her true identity was known all along. (TW: Everything Changes) She would later bring pizza to the hub to have with the team even after being told to go home. (TW: Combat)
On a later occasion, a delivery girl, Annie Botchwell, had her brain forcibly extracted by the partially-converted Cyberman Lisa Hallett, after which Hallett intended to implant her own brain. The girl was then shot multiple times by the Torchwood staff. (TW: Cyberwoman)
A second Cardiff branch existed at Queens Arcade shopping centre. (TWM: Rift War! Part Seven: The Man Who Fell to Earth)
Craig Owens knew of Jubilee Pizza and had a leaflet from it. (DW: The Lodger)
The Utah branch of Jubilee Pizza delivered to the GeoComTex Vault on at least one occasion, as pizza boxes were seen in the outer area of the Dalek Cage. The pizzas were almost certainly for the guards. (DW: Dalek)
Behind the scenes
- The name 'Jubilee' is a reference to Rob Shearman's own audio drama for Big Finish Productions Jubilee, which the television story Dalek was adapted from.
- Jubilee Pizza is one of a number of 'brands' that run throughout both the Doctor Who and Torchwood universes, such as Magpie Electricals.
