Vershinin was a Russian soldier, Second in Command. He landed in Northumberland in a dinghie with a Russian Commando Unit lead by Captain Sorin.
Biography
It was nearing the end of the Second World War. Vershinin's unit arrived at Maiden's Point, where they met Commander Millington who wanted them to steal the core of the Ultima Machine. Vershinin was amongst the soldiers who surrounded Ace and the Doctor after they were found by the body of another Russian soldier. After an attack from the sea by a group of Haemovores, a desperate Millington shot Vershinin, whom survived by the hand of Captain Bates, Vershinin then shot and killed Millington. Bates helped Vershinin and they became Comrades, against the 'Curse of Fenric'. (DW: The Curse of Fenric)
