Goth, the bleak planet of the Deathsmiths, contained the weapons cache of that dreaded species, which included their ultimate weapon, the Apocalypse Device. Long after the Deathsmiths themselves seemed to have departed, a squad of Cybermen landed there and, after the Apocalypse Device had, in effect, dispatched them (the Cyberleader of the squad, Maxel destroying himself rather than re-locate the Device off-world), a group of Sontarans.
