Doctor Who Magazine, 1986's issue 108 was the beginning of the first full year that the magazine was titled under its new name Doctor Who Magazine, prior to this in all of 1985 (except December's issue 107) it had been known as The Doctor Who Magazine.

Sheila Cranna began as editor of the magazine with issue 108, Doctor Who Magazine's first female editor. The magazine was published by Marvel Comics Ltd.
