== Zero-balanced dwarf star alloy? == | |||
I didn't want to post this on the page without getting a second opinion, but the Doctor says the dwarf star alloy is the densest material. Making a very conservative estimate at the size of one block (I used two cubic feet, but it looks even bigger than that), I figured how much a block of osmium (the real-world densest known substance) would weigh and it'd be about 2800 pounds (or about 1280 kg). This would mean that block is even heavier. It doesn't seem possible for two men to lift it with little apparent effort. However, maybe the "zero-balanced" part somehow means it's been made liftable/maneuverable. Thoughts? [[User:TweedJacket|TweedJacket]] 05:40, May 2, 2011 (UTC) |
