Every actor and his dog has been claimed to have been considered for the role of the Eighth Doctor. Do we really need that long list of narrative similarities between episodes of Doctor Who and the Star Wars movies. I haven't seen any of the Star Wars movies, so I could be wrong, but most of these similarities, the Doctor trying to redeem the Master for example, seem like they are just general plot points that appear in many TV shows and movies. Similarities Between Doctor Who and Star Wars
Do we really need that long list of narrative similarities between episodes of Doctor Who and the Star Wars movies.
