I believe it to be Omega and the master in the next season, or if not omega then some daddy time lord. Earlier there were rumours that jason issacs was on set with mark gattis and steven moffat and john simm now it was thought that possibly he was going to be in sherlock but with sherlock having already been on and no jason issacs I think if its true they most likely were talking about doctor who

Now some people have thought that possibly jason issacs is going to take over the role of the master. I don't think so I can't see them ditching john simm just yet okay new doctor but they probably won't want to change everything, I mean the only reason there was new daleks was to sell toys not because it was a new doc. I think that the master will be in the new season but as a side antagonist like the alliance in series five and that jason issacs will be playing the main villain. As for who that is well alot of rumours have sugested it is omega and I think given the new series habit of bringing things back which wasn't just an RTD thing as Moffat brought back the silurians it could be him. If not him then I believe it will be some powerful time lord. I don't know if everyone has already thought this out and I am just going over stuff everybody has already thought LOL. Even though this is what I think I actually hope it isn't true as I think Moffat is throwing away a great chance to build up a new antagonist in the "Silent Menace" and it would be annoying if it was just another "it is returning". i think that it is goin to be a totally new enemy and the silence is a stand alone enemy. because if you think about it, the returning has already been done with the time lords and moffat wouldn't do it again so soon, and the silence is now goin to be the big bad for two seasons at least, at this point it has been built up so much if it did turn out to be omega or an old ememy it would be a bit of an anticlimax.

also i think that the reason the silence is stretching of two seasons is so that it can be turned into a new ultimate enemy by suriounding it in so much mystery and making it seem so dangerous a threat to the universe if it was an old enemy returning it would have all been over by the end of season 5 there would have been no need to build it up because fans already now who the old enemies are, and how dangerous they can be 217.23.232.194 10:54, September 3, 2010 (UTC)

217 seems to have the most plausible point, the Master has been re-introduced WAY too early to be shown again and Omega....really? Let him go. It would be dissapointing if he did return only to fail YET again in his Ultimate plan. --DalekVictor554 11:56, September 3, 2010 (UTC)

I hope you both are right I don't want to see Omega or the Master as I said its a great oppurtunity to create a new villain one who can seem as big a threat as the classics. But as I said John Simm and Jason Issacs have bee seen with Moffat and Gattis which does suggest that they could be involved with doctor who. Also I didn't mention this but apparently there have been time lord gauntlets and equipment seen on set so that coupled with simm suggests something timelordish. And as for it being to soon since the master returning well I personally thought it was too soon in victory of the daleks after journey's end for the Daleks to show up but they still did up anyway. If he is in the season finale then it will have been two years since he last appeared which is all villains in the new who seem to be gone for. Moffat has certainly kept up the bringing old foes back formula so I don't see why he wont do it again, and considering the master was left in such a bad place at the end of time worse than the last of the time lords then he will probably want to get him out of it as soon as possible so he can be used again. I mean he wouldn't want to wait say five years and then go back to a story that mainstream viewers will have forgotten. Winehousefan, Spetember 3, 2010 [UTC]
