Welcome to the Panopticon's archives!
This archive contains discussions which originally appeared at the Panopticon. Thus, these discussions have to do with matters of policy and procedure that help to maintain and develop this wiki.
Restarting an archived conversation
Should you wish to reply to a topic in this forum, start a new topic in the Panopticon forum and add a link to the archived discussion in your new one. Good titles for reopening an archived discussion typically retain the original title somewhere in the new title. This practice allows a search for the topic name to reveal both the old and new discussions. For example, if there was an archived discussion here called Forum:Collective nouns, a good title for the re-opened discussion would be Forum:Collective nouns revisited or Forum:Collective nouns again or Forum:Collective nouns: the next generation. Anything that retains the original title is a good choice.
Adding to this archive
To add topics to this archive simply replace the header at the top of any Panopticon forum topic which usually looks like this:
{{Forumheader|Panopticon}}
with this:
{{Archive|Panopticon archives}}
