Jenny was the companion to the Silurian Madame Vastra. They operated from London, in the late 19th century. Jenny and Vastra were romantically involved with one another. She also seemed to get quite jealous when Vastra showed interest in other people, such as when she commented that the Doctor was attractive or when she showed an interest in Lorna Bucket.
