Hi, please see my response to you regarding River Song's reverse time line on the River Song talk pageMany thanks.[[User:JoelJoel321|JoelJoel321]] 22:06, June 5, 2011 (UTC)
Hi, I've had a look at some of your responses.  In particular I was interested by "Call me" and "You didn't answer your phone" link, which you pointed out, indicating that for River - America came one step before Pandorica.  I think it is safe to assume that Moffat was throwing a serious hint there.  I am convinced!

However, I am not sure that Demon's Run came one step before America for River.  I have reason to think it came after Byzantium from River's perspective.    I know that you are rather convinced that every televised episode so far is River directly backwardsTherefore I thought you might have a solid connecting link which you can point my attention to

I would be grateful for your thoughts on this.[[Special:Contributions/90.208.46.187|90.208.46.187]] 16:02, June 7, 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for your recent edits! I'm Jimbo, your robot wiki representative! We hope you'll keep on editing with us. This is actually a great time to have joined, because we're now fully independent, and working on a host of new features!

We've got a couple of important quirks for a fan written wiki, so let's get them out of the way first.

British English, please

We generally use British English 'round these parts, so if you use another form of English, please be sure you set your spell checker to BrEng, and take a gander at our spelling cheat card.

Spoilers aren't cool

We have a strict definition of "spoiler" that you may find a bit unusual. Basically, a spoiler, to us, is anything that comes from a story which has not been released yet. So, even if you've got some info from a BBC press release or official trailer, it basically can't be referenced here. In other words, you gotta wait until the episode has finished its premiere broadcast to start editing about its contents. Please check the spoiler policy for more details.

Other useful stuff

Aside from those two things, we also have some pages that you should probably read when you get a chance, like:

If you're brand new to wiki editing — and we all were, once! —  you probably want to check out these tutorials at Wikipedia, the world's largest wiki:

Remember that you should always sign your comments on talk and vote pages using four tildes like this:

Marking pages for deletion

Should you wish to propose a page for deletion chuck this on {{proposed deletion}} on the page it puts the Template:Proposed deletion tag on the page and puts it in a prop delete category that sysops reguarly check. Thanks. --Tangerineduel 05:15, 8 February 2009 (UTC)

Just wanted to ask a quick question

In the page history to Aberystwyth University you note that it's recently changed it's name. I was just curious, when it's seen in Random Shoes, is it seen/referenced as Aberystwth University or University of Wales, Aberystwyth? If it's the latter we rally should move it back to that name (as that's how it appeared in Torchwood). As the in-universe stuff is more of the baseline than real-world. Thanks. --Tangerineduel 16:37, 9 February 2009 (UTC)

That's perfectly clear (and detailed) thanks. --Tangerineduel 04:52, 10 February 2009 (UTC)

IMDB

Mainly because it's unreliable. Apparently, anyone can edit it, meaning it can become very unreliable and people can add false information. (I say apparently because I never use it or link to it, and what's what other Users have reported.) An example of this was with Harriet Jones: IMDB stated that she would appear in The End of Time; which she did not. We had linked to this, and since it was proven false, it was decided we should not link to IMDB. Other sources not to site form can be found here. Thanks. Mini-mitch\talk 11:48, April 30, 2011 (UTC)

Ok, I did wonder about maybe putting something about characters only appearing in flashbacks and the like, but fair enough. Geek Mythology 15:31, April 30, 2011 (UTC)

River Song

By no means is this a criticism on your editing skills; but we have to go on what an episode says and if River Song said she kill the Dalek and told the Dalek she was going to kill it, we have to accept she killed it. I hope this has not put you down in any way, as you are a fantastic contributor, and I hope you keep up your good wood. Mini-mitch\talk 20:24, May 14, 2011 (UTC)

Don't worry, I'm not put down in anyway, but as a Film & TV Studies graduate, looking closely and analysing how shows are written, put together etc has just been drummed into me. Obviously the most likely outcome is that she did indeed kill the Dalek (shooting or otherwise), but to me, it is still speculation. I hope you realise that I had the best of intentions, but blame Moffat, you have to admit his stories are begging to be second guessed. Geek Mythology 20:35, May 14, 2011 (UTC)

Ganger Pond

Nope. We don't know when Amy was swapped. We need to wait for an inuniverse source before we add anything about anything else concerning Amy. All that should be on the page is a decription of what happened in The Almost People.

DWC did say she was swapped before series 6, but remember that that lie. They could also be lying about this. Please wait for an inuniverse source, such as a TV story before adding anything that was seen in other episodes.

Also, you might want to see the forum discussion. Forum:Add Ganger Amy as companion in series 6. Mini-mitch\talk 11:45, May 31, 2011 (UTC)

However, I am not sure that Demon's Run came one step before America for River. I have reason to think it came after Byzantium from River's perspective.
