The Selachians were the soldiers of the Ockorans. Aliens tended to equate the Ockorans and the Selachians, though the Selachians were specially modified for war.

Technology

The Selachians wore specialized battlesuits which gave them the appearance and abilities of a humanoid. Their Ockorans had to have their tails removed and studs implanted in their nervous system. They had plasma weapons attached to their arms, which were built for fear rather than power (though they were still a dangerous weapons). Their helmets were shaped and painted to look like sharks in order to intimidate their enemies. (PDA: The Final Sanction)

History

The Selachians left Ockora around 2104 and conquered Kalaya in the first six months and three more neighbouring worlds within a year. By 2204, they were at war with humans and were driven back to their own system. The humans retook all the worlds captured by the Selachians, including Molinar and ending with Kalaya.
