Geraint Cooper was the father of Gwen Cooper, and the husband of Mary Cooper.
Biography
At the time of his daughter's wedding Geraint was living in Swansea. One the day of Gwen's wedding, he was shocked to find out that she was pregnant, apparently with Rhys's baby. At the wedding, he was told by Gwen about her job, he was taken back at the though of aliens,and the though of life on other planets. personality
He cares very muich for his daughter and is willing to put up with surprises. (TW: Something Borrowed) Though he is more quiet about his wishes and has his wife explain them as seen when Mary explains he's waited and waited to have a grandchild. Like some of the human population, he has trouble believing in extraterestials even if Gwen herself explains the nature of Torchwood, for example. However, if a second or third party can confirm such notions, he is willing to beleiev it.
