Geoffrey Hughes (born 2nd February 1944) played Mr. Popplewick in The Ultimate Foe. He is also well-known as Onslow, Hyacinth Bucket's slovenly brother-in-law on the BBC sitcom Keeping Up Appearances, and previously for playing the equally slovenly Eddie Yates in Coronation Street. He provided the voice of Paul McCartney in the Beatles' film Yellow Submarine. In 2009 and again in August 2010, he was taken to hospital with prostate cancer.[1]
