Plinium missile were an explosive weapon used by the Pyrons. The Pyrons fired a plinium missile at the largest sun of Vaga. The sun was destroyed and the effects wiped out the Vagans, save for a few who left in an inter-dimensional craft. Pyron space-sharks were also equipped with plinium missiles. (DWA: The Key of Vaga)
