Synopsis
The Doctor is more than suprised to see the Titanic crashed into his TARDIS. Little does he know he will soon be meeting up with a waitress on board named Astrid.

Myths
This is set on the real Titanic from 1912 (it has been explicitally stated that it is NOT the actual Titanic.)
A lot was made of the fact that Astrid is an anagramme of Tardis. This however, turned out not to be significant for the story.

Discontinuity, Plot Holes, Errors
- Why the humans aboard the Titanic don't recognize Earth, Christmas or even Santa Claus?
- Maybe they aren't human, but a near-human species.
Continuity
- Reference is made to the two previous Christams specials, The Christmas Invasion and The Runaway Bride.
- The Doctor refers to Gallifrey in the constallation of Kasterborous- the first time that Kasterborous has been mentioned in the new series.
- The Doctor uses the phrase Alonz-y aloso, which he stated he liked in Doomsday
- The Doctor mentions that his black suit is unlucky, refering to his previous statement in The Lazarus Experiment.
