Apotheosis was an Doctor Who Magazine comic strip featuring the Eleventh Doctor and Amy Pond.
Summary
The Eleventh Doctor and Amy Pond arrive where time is running faster. They team up with a party of nuns in order to escape...
Plot
Part 1
The Doctor and Amy arrive on an unknown space station, as the TARDIS has taken them to the wrong place. On arrival they are attacked by a security robot.Which is soon destroyed ya group of nuns each armed with guns. They scan the Doctor and Amy for purity. They scan them and announce they are bot 'untained'. One of the nuns Mother Ivana threatens the Doctor but he manageds to prove he is of no danger to them and they explain they are here to investigate some exotic particles of alien origin. Another nun Sister Bridgetexplains they are also here to find out what happened to a previous expedition there. They try to contact their ship but they can't leaving the on there own. Amy talks to a novice nun named Novice Konami who explains she joined the seven saints to protect children from' the abominations.' They find the source of the exotic particles a leaking Time engine, they try to pass to the next room but the door is locked so the Doctor sonics it open revealing some more robot security. The Doctor sonics there control system sending them into stand-by. They find the previous expeditions skeletons and the Doctor grows stubble. The Doctor announcing that time is speeding up due to the leak which has caused Konami to age into an old woman. The Doctor sees a lizard and follows it into a pathway which within minutes has grew into a jungle. The Lizard then dies of old age. That is when the Doctor tells them to come with him to the TARDIS so they can get Konami to safety yet as they approach they notice it has mutated.
