Pike demonstrated to K9 Mark 2 and his friends what the Department had done to the CCPCs. He opened up Green Hand; K9 confirmed the presence of an alien bio-mechanical component of an unidentified species, unidentified as Pike explain because it was twisted and mutated by the Department to serve their own purpose. He inserted a green chip created by Halloran into the stalk. He planned to show the world that CCPCs were unreliable alien machines prone to malfunction at any moment. Pike pressed a slimy green handprint on Green Hand's shoulder. K9 alerted them to a unstable cybernetic bio-agent reaction and a level 9 bio-mechanial virus that had been incubated. Halloran insisted that it was not unstable, saying they had conducted numerous tests and the virus was genespliced to override the Department's control and replace it with theirs. K9 aruged that even though it was their plan it wasn't working. Halloran simply dismissed K9. Green Hand was then ordered to initiate bio-mech transmission protocols, infecting the other CCPC with the same virus, disconnecting them from the Department's control and making them unresponsive and utterly useless except to the Last Precinct, giving the Department no choice but to reinstate humans into the police force.

As the Green Hand came up the stairs, K9 fired the immunisation at them, shutting him and the other CCPC down. K9 then moved out of the house and immunised the other CCPCs. He then K9 advised that the anti-virus patch was relayed as a coded energy pulse through CCPC com-central. Sergeant Pike was then arrested by the Department and Green Hand was presumably taken back to the Department's ownership. (K9TV: The Last Precinct)

Green Hand was a Mark II CCPC controlled by the Last Precinct.

Biography

Like all CCPCs, Green Hand was originally in the service of The Department, but was kidnapped by the Last Precinct and reprogrammed to be under their control.

With Sergeant Harry Pike, forensics expert Halloran and another CCPC, Green Hand invaded Gryffen Manor and held the occupants hostage. They intended to reveal the CCPCs for what they really were after the Department had upgraded the new CCPCs: non-terrestrial, out-of-era technology. Pike demonstrated to K9 Mark 2 and his friends what the Department had done to the CCPCs. HHe inserted a green chip created by Halloran into the stalk. He planned to show the worldCCPCs were unreliable alien machines, prone to malfunction at any moment. K9 alerted them to some weird readings. Halloran simply dismissed K9. Green Hand was ordered to infect the other CCPC with the same virus, leaving the Department no choice but to reinstate humans into the police force.

K9 and the others escaped to a barricaded room. As Halloran and Green Hand moved through the tunnels, the CCPC suddenly became unresponsive. Green Hand strangled him, chanting its new objective to crush all resistance and subjugate all humans. June sent a squad of fresh CCPCs to take back the mansion. The squad of four were met by Green Hand, who infected them. The squad attacked the Department Mobile HQ. K9 completed his repairs and shot him.

The team made their way to the STM room where they were met by Green Hand whom k9 shot before escaping. K9 arrived in the STM room and alerted Pike that he was no longer in command of the CCPCs. Green Hand came back and was asked by Pike why he wasn't with the others, Halloran arrived and warned Pike the CCPCs had gone haywire. Pike used a stolen alien weapon from the Department and knocked out the two CCPCs. K9 informed Pike that the unstable virus had mutated to it's own cause. K9 found a solution, as an unstable virus was created from corrupted alien material and the infected CCPCs had developed an immune system, injecting a pure form of the alien bio-mech into them could work. Gryffen couldn't figure out where to find the kind of material to immunise the CCPCs, he then spotted the STM and K9 used his photon beam to get a component off the machine. Gryffen took off and took a piece of bio-mech from underneath. As only another cybernetic organism could generate enough energy needed for the immunisation, he put the bio-mech inside K9.

Behind the scenes

 • Green Hand was never referred to by the name; the name was given in the credits as he had a green slime handprint on him.
