The Starmaker was an Earth passenger spacecraft in the 22nd century. It was forced to land on Skaro after being damaged in a meteor storm engineered by the Daleks. They later destroyed the vessel, forcing the survivors to steal a Dalek ship to head home. However, the Daleks discovered the location of Earth, and began planning its conquest.
