Jareth was an inhabitant of Solturis and the son of Redlin. Initially a very lazy young man, he was convinced by Mirva to take action against the Daleks, who were planning to conquer the planet. Together they discovered that the Daleks had stolen the Penta Ray and substituted a fake one in its place. He killed Geltis and used the Penta Ray to destroy the Daleks. (TV21: The Penta Ray Factor)
