The French Revolution was a book given by Coal Hill School history teacher Barbara Wright to her pupil Susan Foreman. Susan, who had visited the revolutionary period with her grandfather immediately noted errors in the book. (DW: An Unearthly Child) Later, Ace found a copy of the book in a science laboratory in Coal Hill School. (DW: Remembrance of the Daleks) A copy of the book is seen in the Library of the 51st century. (DW: Silence in the Library).
