Vlad Wolynetz was briefly an executive at BBC Worldwide Productions, where he had oversight over Torchwood: Miracle Day as a co-executive producer. By the time Miracle Day screened on Starz, however, Wolynetz had already left Worldwide for a similar job at Cineflix Studios.[1] Prior to his involvement with Torchwood, he was in charge of scripted drama at AMC from 2006-2010, where he notably oversaw production of the Emmy Award-winning Mad Men.[2][3]
Because Wolynetz has mostly worked in development and production oversight, he has rarely had on-screen credit for his efforts. Like Jane Tranter, he is an executive who got a rare on-screen credit because Miracle Day aired on a network for which he did not work.
