Brigadier Winifred Bambera was a member of UNIT in the UK. She fought against Mordred when he and his knights came across a dimensional gateway in Carbury, and would fight alongside the knight Ancelyn. (DW: Battlefield) She was part of the resistance when the Ice Warriors invaded the United Kingdom in 1997. (NA: The Dying Days) She later had twins with Ancelyn. (NA: Head Games).
