Driver Joe worked alongside Mechanic Claude and the Hostess on board of the shuttle bus Crusader 50.
Biography
When The Tenth Doctor entered the cockpit after the vehicle stopped, he convinced Joe and Claude to lift the shield for a moment to see what Midnight looked like, so they opened the shields to look outside. As the radiation went up to a lethal level, Joe decided to shut them down again. The same moment, Claude saw something, describing it as a "Shadow", running towards their shuttle, but Joe dismissed his claim. Unfortunately, he and Claude were vapourized by the xtonic light of Midnight's sun when the Midnight Entity ripped away their cabin during it's initial attack. (DW: Midnight)
