- Professor Stahlman’s drilling project is going to crack open the Earth’s crust and release a gas that will provide the planet with a new source of power. At least that’s the plan. When the drill unearths a mysterious green slime that transforms them around it into snarling primitive monsters, it’s clear something has gone wrong – but Stahlman keeps on drilling! As people start to die and UNIT loses control, all eyes turn to the Doctor.
