George Patrick Barnham was an inmate of Stangmoor Prison. He was the first to be subjected to the Keller Machine, which extracted all the negative impulses from his brain. Due to this, his presence acted as a dampener on the Machine. He later assisted the Third Doctor in defeating the Master's scheme, but was killed when the Master ran him over in his escape.
