Salim was a galactic wheeler-dealer. Salim became a galactic dealer when his father, who was also a dealer, died. Whilst he was aboard the Defiance spacestation, he tried to steal Ace's shadow. He then met the Seventh Doctor, Ace's travelling friend. After their meeting, Salim decided to change his ways. (ST: The Shadow Trader)
