AAAGH! was a Doctor Who Adventures comic strip published in 2011.
Overview
Aaagh! Was a weekly, one page, stand-alone, comic adventure of the old funnies type, in which characters -- the robotic Mrs Tinkle and her assistant, Nervil, from the Alien Assignment Agency General Headquarters, attempted to help out “any problem” with their agency staff of various reformed alien criminals - various characters from the world of Doctor Who.
Original print details
- Aaagh! Appeared weekly in the pages of Doctor Who Adventures from Issue 204
- No reprints to date.
Notes
- Writers for the script included; Malcolm Mackenzie, Simon Guerrier, Luke Paton and Paul Lang.
- The premise behind the strip is along the lines of Christopher Cooper’s previous regular cartoon feature “Things to do with a defeated Enemy” featured in the magazine.
- Coverage to the strip was boosted in a national UK newspaper (The Daily Star) when the X-Factor supremo Simon Cowell made an appearance in Issue 208 receiving a wedgie from the Krafayis – raising his trousers to a more comfortable height for Simon!
