Major Events
- Another Ice Age affects Earth at this time. (DW: The Talons of Weng-Chiang)
- During the 51st century, Earth was organized into a number of "Alliances." In this era, the Icelandic Alliance and the PacBloc were at war. The Icelandic Alliance fell when its Commissioner was assassinated by Magnus Greel's Peking Homunculus, almost causing World War VI. The Supreme Alliance came into power, with Magnus Greel as its Minister of Justice. He was responsible for the deaths of 100,000 enemies of the state, earning him the epithet "The Butcher of Brisbane". The Supreme Alliance committed a number of war crimes and was brought down by the Filipino Army at the Battle of Reykjavik, at which the Doctor was present. Greel, who had been experimenting with time travel, fled to 19th century China by means of a time cabinet, taking the Peking Homunculus with him. (DW: The Talons of Weng-Chiang)
- The weapons factories of Villengard is destroyed by the Doctor and is replaced by a banana grove (DDW:The Doctor Dances)
